A semana de Dame Agatha Christie está quase a chegar com a celebração do 80º aniversário do primeiro grande sucesso da escitora, O assassinato de Roger Ackroyd. Alguns dos eventos especiais encontram-se anunciados no site oficial dedicado à escritora. Para quem puder dar um pulinho a Inglaterra...

- 10th September: The National Film Theatre, London and BFI CrimeScene present: “Agatha Christie Evening” 5:40pm Screening of “The Murder of Roger Ackroyd” (2000, LWT production) and David Suchet in conversation 8:45pm Special Preview of “Mon petit doigt m’a dit” (2005 French adaptation of By The Pricking of My Thumbs, directed by veteran director Pascal Thomas).

- Tuesday, 12th September: Live Radio Play 'A Personal Call' performed by The Agatha Christie Theatre Company and an Author Panel Discussion on Christie at The British Library, London – 6:30pm start. Tickets available from the British Library box office at £6 and £4 for concessions.

- Tuesday, 12th September: Greenway Auction! 700 items from Christie's former home will go 'under the hammer' at Bearn's auctioneers in Exeter from 10am. The auction is expected to draw worldwide interest!
